Tamannaah Bhatia goes chic with Humshakals

USA: Oye! Times readers Get FREE $30 to spend on Amazon, Walmart… Tamannaah Bhatia has gone through an entirely new and different look for her upcoming Hindi film Humshakals. Right from her hair to the wardrobe, everything has gone through a sea change, so much so that even her friends and acquaintances have been caught by surprise.

"It is as if there is a new Tamannaah which would be out there on screen now," says a close associate of the actress, "It was a conscious call though as she is playing this urban, young, vibrant and ultra glamorous girl in the film. Since in this Vashu Bhagnani and FOX production she has a U.K. background, it was all the more imperative that she carries a stylish persona."

There was a lot that went behind finalizing her look in the film, more so since she has a major part to play in this multi-starrer set up that includes Bipasha Basu and Esha Gupta.

"Sajid Khan, the film's director, who has earlier presented Deepika Padukone, Lara Dutta and Asin in a glamorous avtar, went an extra mile to make sure that Tamannaah appears in a never-seen-before look. There were quite a few look tests that were done followed by the photo shoots and after deliberating on multiple combinations, the one that Tamannaah carries in the film was finalized," a source adds, "Not just is she looking much younger, she is also looking much slimmer as well as trendy."

While one waits to see more of her once the promo of the film is out later this month, those attached to Humshakals vouch for the fact that Tamannaah would be a surprise package in the film which has Saif Ali Khan, Riteish Deshmukh and Ram Kapoor in a triple role each.

When contacted, Tamannaah said, "We had first thought of keeping the look a little formal but then realized that it's better to keep it more young and contemporary. I could relate to the whole look and felt more comfortable carrying it as this is my general style. Also, I am looking a lot my age as well."

We are waiting to have a dekko.
