Being a self proclaimed fan of Amitabh Bachchan, Emraan Hashmi recently decided to change the title of his film Shaatir to Raja Natwarlal, inspired by the old title of the Amitabh – Rekha starrer Mr. Natwarlal.
Emraan plays the role of a conman Raja who is known for his notorious heists in disguise. According to director Kunal Deshmukh, Emraan represents the modern day Natwarlal like Amitabh Bachchan who duped people in the 1979 film. Emraan believes that the new title is catchy and etches his character perfectly.
Produced by UTV Motions Pictures, Raju Natwarlal starring Humaima Malick, Paresh Rawal, Kay Kay Menon among others releases on August 29.
