Times readers Get FREE $30 to spend on Amazon, Walmart…News of an FIR being lodged against actor Inder Kumar spread like fire last evening after a 22 year old claimed that she was raped by the actor under the false pretence of providing film opportunities. However, some new twists have been added recently added to it.
The victim claims that she has previously been intimated by the actor and she was even raped before by him at her residence. She also alleged that Inder had threatened to kill her if she complained against him. Inder Kumar who has been previously married, has also been accused of abusing his wife by the residents of his building, and the two are now separated after a divorce.
However, the past rekindled when Inder and his wife Pallavi were allegedly fighting at his residence amidst the presence of the 22 year old victim on the eve of April 24 after which his wife sought the help of police accusing her husband of assaulting and cheating on her. The rape victim also claimed that Inder had threatened her to defend him and the aspiring actress agreed to the deal over fear of life. However, later, she was called to his residence in the night for clarifying things but the actor wounded her with a beer bottle before raping her.
However, Inder denies these claims and states that the relation between him and the victim was consensual.
The police claim that the rape victim is currently recovering from her injuries at Cooper Hospital and actor Inder Kumar now will be kept under police custody until April 30. Inder has been booked under Section 376, 324 and 506 for raping, hurting and intimidation.
