Few months ago, Rakeysh Omprakash Mehra announced one of his most ambitious projects Mirza Sahiban, an intense love story. However, the film's title has been changed and now it is rechristened as Mirziya.
Mehra stated that this story is based on folklore and hence he decided to re-title the film. However, the film will have a modern take on the story. The film also marks the debut of Harshvardhan Kapoor and Saiyami Kher.
Mirziyan will be shot in the picturesque locales of Ladakh and Rajasthan.
