Times readers Get FREE $30 to spend on Amazon, Walmart…A few days back, we reported that Alia Bhatt's mother Soni Razdan is all set to don the director's hat and her film titled Love Affair is based on true incidents. Now, Gulshan Devaiah has been roped in to play one of the title roles in the film.
Last seen in Goliyon Ki Rasleela Ram Leela, Gulshan Devaiah will essay the character of a Naval officer inspired by Kawaz Manekshaw Nanavati. Love Affair is based on the true story of a crime of passion where Mr. Nanavati was alleged of killing his wife's lover Prem Ahuja. The case revolves around the dilemma of whether the crime was a result of a fit of rage or if it was a planned cold-blooded murder. Pooja Bhatt, one of the producers of the film, stated that while Gulshan will play the husband, they are in the last stages of finalizing the rest of the cast.
Rumours were that Arjun Rampal will play the role of Prem Ahuja but no official announcement has been made on the same.
