Kayoze Irani dresses as woman in The Legend of Michael Mishra

Cross dressing is something that many actors have done on screen including Aamir Khan, Salman Khan, Riteish Deshmukh, Saif Ali Khan and even Ram Kapoor. The latest to join the list of on screen cross dressers is Kayoze Irani for the film The Legend of Michael Mishra. The fact remains that he has not just cross dressed, but dressed exactly like Aditi Rao Hydari, the film's heroine!

Buzz is that Kayoze needed to be dressed as a woman for one of the scenes in the film. A production insider (on the condition of anonymity) said that, "Initially, the plan was to have Kayoze dress in a different outfit, but the film's producer Kishor Arora and the director Manish Jha thought it would look incredible to have them dress in same looks! Hence, 4 days prior to shooting the scene, the stylist on the film was asked to replicate Aditi's look in of course a much larger size for Kayoze. While shooting on sets, Aditi asked her own team to help Kayoze put his entire look together – from make up to hair."

Talking about donning a woman's avatar, Kayoze said, "I'm Arshad Warsi's right-hand man in the film and dressed exactly like Aditi so he can rehearse his lines on me first before proclaiming his love to Aditi's character. It's a confidence boosting exercise."

The Legend of Michael Mishra is a quirky comedy that stars Arshad Warsi, Aditi Rao Hydari, Boman Irani and Kayoze Irani. The film is produced by Shareen Mantri Kedia and Kishor Arora of Eye Candy Films and WAVE Cinemas.
