A while back we had reported that Abhishek Bachchan, a self professed football fanatic, would be taking off to the tropical paradise, Brazil, to witness one of the biggest sporting events, FIFA. Accompanying Abhishek on the tip was father dearest Amitabh Bachchan who recently posted a few images of his visit to Brazil on his blog and twitter handle.
Posting an image of himself standing in front of Rio's Christ the Redeemer, Bachchan says, "Seeking the blessings of Christ the Redeemer". Further adding about his experience on his blog Bachchan posted, "There is an attraction as you stand in front of this magnificence in Rio de Janeiro – Christo, Christ the redeemer ! Its situation and its making are almost God given. It evokes surprise, awe, brilliance and great religiosity. There are times when we become speechless in the presence of such beauty and elegance and its religiosity. I am such today .."
Later, after the nail biting finish to the 2014 FIFA World Cup match, Bachchan a true football fan got himself clicked with the World Cup trophy. Posting a picture of the same he says, "I won the World Cup 2014 !!!… so help me Christ .. Christo the Redeemer in Rio .."
Currently, the actor is busy with his shoot for his next film Shamitabh directed by R. Balki.
