Both films have Pakistani actors playing the lead. While Khoobsurat will mark the debut of Fawad Afzal Khan in Bollywood, actress Humaima Malick will be debuting in this industry with Raja Natwarlal.

While not many Bollywood films happen to release in our neighboring country Pakistan, these films hold a special significance in the minds of Bollywood lovers there since their local actors will be playing lead roles in these films. In fact, Fawad Khan is excited about the fact that his first Bollywood film will be releasing in his country. He also further mentioned that he would have been disappointed if Khoobsurat wouldn't have released there because he owes this to his fans who played a big role in making him the star that he is today in Pakistan.

However, the rumours of Raja Natwarlal releasing there has been floating around for quite a while and it was also being said that the kissing scene between Humaima and her co-star Emraan from the film would be deleted while screening it for the Pakistani audience.

Khoobsurat is the remake of the 80s classic by the same name which starred veteran actors like Rekha and Rakesh Roshan in lead roles. Directed by Shashank Ghosh, the new version stars Sonam Kapoor, Ratna Pathak, Kirron Kher among others. The film is slated to release on September 19.

And Raja Natwarlal is a con-thriller directed by Kunal Deshmukh and it also stars Paresh Rawal and Kay Kay Menon in prominent roles. While the film was initially titled Shaatir, the title was later changed as it was inspired by the Amitabh Bachchan – Rekha starrer Mr. Natwarlal that released in 1979.
