USA: Free $30 Oye! Times readers Get FREE $30 to spend on Amazon, Walmart…Entertaining RJs who crack jokes on popular politicians on private FM channels are being flaked by Parlimentarians. These RJs are being criticized even for mimicking some popular politicians which include some honourable ministers like Atal Bihari Bajpai, Manmohan Singh and the recent Arvind Kejriwal who have been at the receiving end of these hilarious one liners.

Currently, former actress and now politician Jaya Bachchan has raised this issue in Rajya Sabha where she is a member. Wife of the legendary superstar Amitabh Bachchan, Jaya spoke about the issue of mimicry and mentioned that private FM channels have RJs making fun of MPs and it is a serious issue that requires action. In fact, Information and Broadcasting Minister, Prakash Javaderkar voiced out similar thoughts and has promised her that the matter is being discussed seriously and they are also planning to take action against it. Hence now the Government has decided to keep an eye on the content that goes live on these channels.

As the Government has been addressing this issue seriously, now radio channels too will have to supervise the content that goes on air. However, it is being said that these FM channels will be allowed to air news just like All India Radio.
