USA: Oye! Times readers Get FREE $30 to spend on Amazon, Walmart…Bollywood's resident diva Sridevi turned a year older on Wednesday midnight over a very quiet family dinner with her husband and kids.
She then left in the morning for the Tirupathi-Balaji temples in Andhra Pradesh with her younger daughter Khushi, without her husband Boney Kapoor.
Explained Boney, "Sri likes to go and connect with the Supreme Boss on her birthday. Normally the entire family likes to travel together for her birthday pilgrimage. But this time she had to go with our younger daughter while I had to stay back to be with our elder daughter. Jhanvi is having her Class 12 tests. She had paper on Wednesday, on her mother's birthday. We will join Sri and Khushi a day later."
In the meanwhile, Boney rubbishes all reports of Jhanvi making her debut in a Karan Johar film.
Says Boney, "There is no truth to this. Jhanvi is still studying. Let her make up her mind about what she wants to do with her life. She has lots of time. Why is everyone in such a hurry?"
