USA: Free $30 Oye! Times readers Get FREE $30 to spend on Amazon, Walmart…Mardaani featuring Rani Mukerji in a never seen before avatar released last Friday. Now we hear that the film, that has been doing well at the box-office collecting approximately Rs. 15 crores over the opening weekend, will be sent back to the censor board for re-certification.

It is learnt that Rani Mukerji on behest of NGOs and viewers alike will be resending Mardaani to the censors, since it has been awarded an 'A' certificate, hence restricting the reach of the film. Keen on the film reaching children above 12 years, Rani Mukerji commented saying that though she is pleased with the response the film has been getting, she would be putting in extra effort on getting a U/A certificate for Mardaani.

Apart from this, while the film has been granted a tax free status in MP and UP, Rani has also urged the Maharashtra government to make the film tax free in the state.
