Times readers Get FREE $30 to spend on Amazon, Walmart…Madhur Bhandarkar recently pepped up the curiosity by releasing the first look of his upcoming production Calendar Girls where five bikini clad girls were seen posing but their faces were covered by hats. Though the filmmaker wanted to keep the names of the actresses confidential, we hear that out of the five actresses, two would be Akanksha Puri and Kyra Dutt.
Akanksha Puri, a model turned actress will be debuting in Bollywood with Calendar Girls but she has already taken the first step towards her acting career with South films like Praise the Lord and Alex Pandian.
Madhur plans to focus on journey of young girls as they become Calendar Girls in this film and Kyra Dutt who is already a successful Calendar Girl (posed for Kingfisher Calendar) has been roped in to play yet another lead role in this film.
Previously, the filmmaker had announced that unlike his previous films which starred A-listers like Priyanka Chopra and Kareena Kapoor, this time around he will be introducing fresh faces in his upcoming film. Moreover, he further added that he required models who can emote and act well since the film is heavy on content. However, in order to increase curiosity, Madhur Bhandarkar refused to reveal any details about the girls in his film.
