UTV to produce Fawad Khans next to be directed by Akshat Verma

Times readers Get FREE $30 to spend on Amazon, Walmart…Pakistani actor Fawad Khan has been receiving quite a bit of attention from the Indian audience post the release of his film Khoobsurat alongside Sonam Kapoor. Though currently the actor is back home on a vacation we hear that he has been signed on by Akshat Verma, who earlier wrote the film Delhi Belly, for his directorial debut.

If that wasn't enough it is also learnt that Fawad has already been approached for the project and has reacted positively to the same. Said to be an intense drama with comic touches, the film will be produced UTV which also produced Khoobsurat. Confirming the same, sources close to the production house said, "Yes Fawad has been approached for the project. Currently talks are on for the same, nothing has been finalized."

The untitled project that is yet to lock on the lead actress is expected to go on floors by November.
