Foreign actors and other artists who are planning to work for Bollywood have to now register under the Cine and Television Artistes Association (CINTAA) before starting their work in this film industry.

Elaborating on the rules, Gajendra Chauhan, General Secretary, CINTAA stated that the ones who are looking for work in Bollywood should have an E visa in order to be enrolled under their association. However, he also pointed out that many actors who are currently a part of the film fraternity have the B visa which is against the regulations. Some of them include Fawad Khan who made his debut with Khoobsurat and Humaima Malick who debuted with Raja Natwarlal.

Adding further, Gajendra mentioned that they will be taking strict action against the ones who do not abide by the rules and they have even written a letter to the External Affairs Ministry so that the actors and other artists follow the guidelines religiously.
