Earlier we had reported that R Madhavan would soon be teaming up with Kangna Ranaut and director Aanand. L. Rai for the second installment of the 2011 film Tanu Weds Manu. Though after the announcement of the film there were rumours about the makers being in legal trouble, when the producer of the first film, Vinod Bachchan, claimed that the rights of the sequel belonged to him. However, the issue was soon sorted and Dhanush was also cast in the film though only in a cameo. Now we hear that shooting for the same has begun, with Madhavan posting an image on twitter while on sets saying, "On the sets of Tanu weds Manu Season 2".
As for the film itself, the story will move forward from where the first film ended with the lead pair now married, focusing on problems that arise in their marriage since he is totally committed and she just the opposite.
