Katrina Kaif gets another 100 crore film with Bang Bang Her 12 major films

Katrina Kaif has done it again. With Bang Bang entering the 100 crore club on the fifth day of its release, she now has scored her fourth century after Ek Tha Tiger, Jab Tak Hai Jaan and Dhoom 3. Here is looking at her journey so far which took a new turn once Maine Pyaar Kyun Kiya, her first ever outing with Salman Khan, turned out to be a success.
Maine Pyaar Kyun Kiya (2006)
After Boom, Katina Kaif was seen in a miniscule role in Sarkar. The film was a hit but Katrina was much noticed in Maine Pyaar Kyun Kiya. While the film united her with Salman Khan, one also saw a much more relaxed side of the pretty woman. The fact that she scored a hit here ensured that she had a good Bollywood journey awaiting her.
Namastey London (2007)
With Namastey London, Vipul Shah entrusted her to deliver as a performer too. Katrina didn't disappoint him and her co-star Akshay Kumar by coming up with a performance that had many layers to it. One saw an emotional side of Katrina in this box office success.
Singh Is Kinng (2007)
While Katrina Kaif did deliver hits with comedies like Partner and Welcome, it was Singh Is Kinng which turned out to be her biggest smash success till then at the box office. The film took a very huge opening and her 'jodi' with Akshay Kumar came up with a hat trick of big successes.
Race (2008)
Just when one thought that comedy films were on Katrina Kaif's mind, she sizzled with her 'Zara Zara Touch Me' act in Race. With a sizzling performance where she juggled from being a bimbo to a scheming young woman, Katrina was the quintessential 'twisted' angle in the Abbas-Mustan thriller. This was another huge commercial success for Katrina.
New York (2009)
Meanwhile, she got maximum recognition as an actress in New York. While her 'Meri Sang Toh Chal Zara' continues to haunt till date, the film also placed her firmly into the Yash Raj camp. In a rather serious role that could have well bordered on being depressing, Katrina Kaif announced her arrival as a leading lady with the best success rate amongst her contemporaries.
Ajab Prem Ki Ghazab Kahani (2009)
Her love for comedies continued though with Ajab Prem Ki Ghazab Kahaani. Other than the fact that the film made her over-the-top act look oh-so-endearing, it holds all the more significance today, considering her (today's) love story with Ranbir Kapoor. She had many hit numbers to her credit as well in this Rajkumar Santoshi directed entertainer.

Raajneeti (2010)
No one would have expected Katrina Kaif to have fitted into a Prakash Jha affair but the filmmaker had a conviction that she would be a perfect fit. As a young woman who found herself thrust into the world of politics, she had a meaty role to play in this all-men saga. Oh yes, not to forget the fact that she paired up yet again with Ranbir though it was Arjun Rampal who put 'sindoor' in her 'maang'!
Zindagi Na Milegi Dobaara (2011)
She may not have enjoyed a lengthy role in Zoya Akhtar's Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara but the director ensured that whenever she appeared in the film, it counted. In a performance which was as real as it gets, Katrina Kaif was absolutely convincing in her romantic rendezvous with Hrithik Roshan.
Mere Brother Ki Dulhan (2011)
As a 'dulhan' in this romcom affair, Katrina Kaif was an absolute delight as she played a young woman who had a heart and mind of her own and didn't mind eloping with the man whom she really loved than live on with his brother. In this yet another Yash Raj film, she held centre-stage and did quite well too.
Ek Tha Tiger (2012)
Six years after being paired opposite Salman Khan, Katrina Kaif was seen with the superstar as a leading lady in Ek Tha Tiger. In an unconventional premise of two intelligence officers from neighboring countries falling in love with each other under diverse circumstances, Katina and Salman had all the fun during their 'global bhraman'.
Dhoom 3 (2013)
Her 'Kamli' act is what stays on in audience memory till date. Resultantly, she made her presence felt in the Yash Raj Film, despite the fact that Aamir Khan was seen from first to last frame of the film due to a double role act. The film also fetched her the first ever double century at the box office.
Bang Bang (2014)
Any actress would have felt apprehensive when offered the part of Cameron Diaz from Knight & Day. After all, the leading lady hardly had anything to contribute in the spy drama, except for sounding scared and being taken for a ride. Well, literally! However, Katrina knew that this is Bollywood and she would manage a standing of her own. She succeeded too, despite Hrithik Roshan shining in the author backed part.
