USA: Oye! Times readers Get FREE $30 to spend on Amazon, Walmart…The casting of Abbas-Mustan's next is well in place now. While it is a known fact that the director duo has already roped in Kapil Sharma as the leading man, the latest development is that former beauty queen Simran Kaur Mundi has bagged the part of the leading lady.
Confirms our source, "For the leggy beauty this is a high indeed as Abbas-Mustan have been really lucky for newcomers or those who have started afresh. Be it Kajol-Shilpa Shetty (Baazigar), Bipasha Basu (Ajnabee), Priyanka Chopra (Aitraaz) or Jacqueline Fernandez (Race 2) – they all have tasted success with the filmmakers. Now for Simran too this is a golden opportunity to make it big."
For Simran, who has starred in two big Punjabi films and a successful Telugu film other than her Bollywood sojourn, these are exciting times indeed as Abbas-Mustan felt that she brings in just the right dose of glamour to the part.
Says Simran, "It's an honor to work with Abbas-Mastanji who have pushed forward the careers of many newcomers in the industry. Also, it's super exciting to share screen space with Kapil Sharma, the current King of comedy. I know that matching his comic timing will be tough but then it should be throughly fun and enjoyable. This film is just the right package."
"Moreover, Abbas-Mustan are known to present their women so well. I had to do this film," she adds.
This yet untitled film also stars Elli Avram while the name of two more leading ladies would be revealed soon too. Meanwhile, the film is expected to go on floors next month.
