Bollywood celebrities have always extended their support for various social causes. From Amitabh Bachchan eradicating polio to Priyanka Chopra, the UNICEF goodwill ambassador working towards the development of a girl child, many actors and actresses have decided to contribute to the society. And now it is Nargis Fakhri who has decided to fight against breast cancer and is spreading awareness about the same.
Nargis Fakhri who has always promoted a healthy lifestyle decided to click a pink selfie in support of the Breast Cancer awareness campaign in association with the fashion magazine Elle. She posted the picture on Instagram with a note written on it saying, "I'm wearing pink to support breast cancer awareness month with @elleindiaofficial. It's very important to get yourself tested as early detection provides a 98% chance of a full recovery and can save lives. #PinkSelfie.
We also hear that Aditi Rao Hydari and designers Manish Malhotra and Nishka Lulla have decided to come forward in support of this initiative which was been organized by Ogaan Cancer Foundation in association with Elle. The October, also termed as the Breast Cancer Awareness month will see many prominent personalities backing up the initiative in order to spread the awareness around the globe.
