The news is that Abhishek is now all set to do a hilarious cameo in Abhishek Sharmaa's upcoming comedy film The Shaukeens. The idea of him doing a cameo happened when the makers of the film approached him with the idea a few days back, when he was extremely busy with the promotions of Happy New Year. But Abhishek found the idea of the cameo so interesting that he immediately took time out for it.
Buzz is that Bachchan junior was shooting till six in the morning on the day he shot for The Shaukeens and that he just slept for a couple of hours before he faced the camera again. When asked Abhishek Sharmaa, the film's director (who was not willing to reveal more about what Abhishek Bachchan was doing in the film) said, "I had always heard that Abhishek has a great sense of humour. But this time, I saw it for myself. I have become a huge Abhishek fan after this experience." Meanwhile, Abhishek Bachchan said "It was good fun."
The Shaukeens releases on November 7 and is produced by Murad Khetani, Cape Of Good Films & Ashwin Varde and stars Anupam Kher, Annu Kapoor, Piyush Mishra, Lisa Haydon, Akshay Kumar and Rati Agnihotri.
