USA: Oye! Times readers Get FREE $30 to spend on Amazon, Walmart…Sanjay Gupta is known for his gangster flicks and action drama. The filmmaker is all set to get back former Miss World and popular actress Aishwarya Rai once again on the silver screen post her maternity sabbatical in the upcoming film Jazbaa. While the film will have the actress playing a tough role, now, a veteran is all set to join the star cast.
Theatre genius and National award winning actress Shabana Azmi will be seen playing the role of the third important character in the film. She will be seen in the role of a college professor who struggles to find her own justice. Aishwarya plays the role of a lawyer and Irrfan Khan plays the character of a suspended cop but works off duty in order to help the ones in need in the film. Jazbaa will be shot extensively in Mumbai and it is being said that the film will be completed before May 2015 since filmmaker Sanjay Gupta is planning to premiere it at Cannes Film Festival. The reason is that Aishwarya Rai has been attending the prestigious film festival for about a decade and Jazbaa being her comeback holds a special importance. Hence Sanjay decided on using Cannes as an international platform to feature Aishwarya's film.
Jazbaa is slated to go on floor in December this year.
