Lightening struck Pattaya. Dark ominous clouds, unrelenting downpour and then it finally agreed to a drizzle. Sunny Leone, in a yellow raincoat, looking like a teenage girl in full blossom, danced in the rain. It was a scene straight out of a movie. A gorgeous girl, swaying to the rhythm of rainfall, in slow motion, with closed eyes and a smile on the red lips.
"I like to have fun. The sky turned black, I grabbed a rain coat…it was fun. Rain also means I get a break, I'm a bit of a kaamchor," Sunny giggled. Rangita Nandy, producer of Mastizaade doesn't agree with her 'kaamchor' bit. "Sunny is a superb team player. She's a super trouper," Rangita said.
The location for the Day 3 of the peppy romantic song from Mastizaade was shifted to 'Mimosa-The City Of Love'. It is a hub of quaint shops selling memorabilia that's symbolic of Thailand. Sunny bought interesting head gear for the entire unit to celebrate Halloween. Director Milap Zaveri, in particular, looked quite a sight. What's commendable about the man (he looks more of a boy actually) is that he has no qualms in laughing at himself and such people are happy people. Always!
The peppy romantic song has become a part of my system now. Each time it played on the sound system, the hand-n-feet invariably moved in the signature step designed by Mudassar Khan. Sunny was seen today both in the Laila as well as the Lilly avatar, grooving with Tushar Kapoor and Vir Das respectively. Noted photographer Subi Samuel did a photoshoot with Sunny in her Lilly Lele avatar early in the morning.
Sunny reminisced the excitement generated by her on day 2, "Yesterday was a lot of oomph and wow. I've never washed a car in front of a 100 people. Car wash scene will shock-and-awe people. It's really sexy, it turned out really beautifully." Do you think Laila is going to be the ultimate male fantasy? "I think so, yes," Sunny replied with a smile.
Three days on the sets of Mastizaade in Pattaya passed by like a breeze. As the very amiable Vasant brought another cup of green tea for me, I immersed in the aroma of beautiful people (on screen and behind the screen) that I had closely observed in the last three days. Goodness reflects in little unsaid things. It also reflects in movies. When there's honesty and conviction, the audience mostly responds favorably. I met with honesty in Pattaya.
