USA: Oye! Times readers Get FREE $30 to spend on Amazon, Walmart…Bollywood woke up today to a sad news. The talented actor Sadashiv Amrapurkar is no more.
Sadashiv Amrapurkar, who was being treated for lung infection at Kokilaben Dhirubhai Ambani Hospital since the last few days, passed away early morning today. Born and brought up in a Marathi Brahmin family, he was fondly called as 'Tatya' by his loved ones. While he was best known for his path breaking roles in films like Sadak and Ardh Satya, he was equally known for his light heated and villainous roles in films like Aankhen, Ishq, Coolie No 1, Gupt: The Hidden Truth to name a few.
Bollywood residents took to twitter to express their condolence for this great actor. While Anupam Kher tweeted, "I am so saddened to know about the demise of a fine human being & a wonderful actor Sadashiv Amrapurkar. He was a kind & a learned man. RIP", Ashoke Pandit tweeted, "Sad to know about the demise of Sadashiv Amrapurkar a Grt theatre & film actor.Superb human being.Will miss U Sir.RIP.".
On the other hand, reputed choreographer Jay Borade too passed away yesterday. Salman Khan took to twitter yesterday to express his condolence. Salman tweeted "My favorite choreographer no more .Mpk ,hahk , baggi , hum saatsaat …. Enjoy the songs n make his soul rest in peace . Enjoy this eve.".
