Times readers Get FREE $30 to spend on Amazon, Walmart…Filmmaker Ravi Chopra best remembered for his films like Baabul, Baghban and The Burning Train as well as the popular TV series Mahabharat, passed away earlier today. The 68 year old filmmaker had been admitted to Mumbai's Breach Candy Hospital a few days ago.

It is learnt that Ravi Chopra passed away today at around 3.30 pm, while his funeral will probably take place tomorrow at around 11. Apparently, Ravi had been suffering from severe lung ailments since the past few years, and was even hospitalized for the same in 2012.

Ravi Chopra, who is survived by his wife and three children, came from an illustrious Bollywood family as his father B R Chopra who was a renowned director and producer and his uncle was filmmaker Yash Chopra.
