USA: Oye! Times readers Get FREE $30 to spend on Amazon, Walmart…Ever since the time the film named MSG: The Messenger of God made its presence felt in Bollywood, it has been marred with controversies galore. And these 'controversies' started having its effect on almost everyone in the Censor Board. For starters, the Censor Board's chief Leela Samson quit her job stating 'bureaucratic inference, coercion and corruption'.
Showing her solidarity towards Samson was one of CBFC's key member Ira Bhaskar, who, when asked about her reason for resignation said that her resignation has to do with Leelaji's decision to step down. The latest buzz is that, in the last 24 hours, as many as around eight board members of the existing 23 have either resigned or will be doing so in the coming 24 hours.
Meanwhile, there were staggering protests in Haryana and Delhi against the proposed release of the movie. Reacting to all this, Gurmeet Ram Rahim Singh (Sect Chief- Dera Saccha Sauda on whom the movie is based) said that he had clearly said that he was just a human and that the acts portrayed in the film are mere stunts.
Meanwhile, Rajyavardhan Rathore (Minister of State- Information and Broadcasting) wanted Samson to show the SMS or letter that would mirror her claim about interference or coercion, so as to take necessary action.
