Saira Banu, the yesteryear actress and wife of the legendary superstar Dilip Kumar, had wished to open a museum cum acting academy in the city of Mumbai for a long time now. What has now come to light is that, Saira Banu had even written to the state government (when Prithviraj Chavan was the state's CM) seeking land allotment for the same.
Speaking about it, she said that Dilip saab had handed over his plot of land which he owned, to the BMC to construct a municipal park, but so far noting has been done in this regard.
Saira Banu wants to start the acting academy that is to be named after her husband Dilip Kumar, and that the said academy will train film aspirants.
