USA: Free $30 Oye! Times readers Get FREE $30 to spend on Amazon, Walmart…Salman Khan has a found himself a new role as a script writer for the sequel to his 2013 blockbuster Kick.

Salman will be writing the story and screenplay of the Kick sequel.

Entitled Devil, the story idea for the sequel came from Salman.

Says a source close to producer-director Sajid Nadiadwala, "Sajid had no idea at all when he'd make Devil. He had decided he would not even think about the sequel until he found a kickass subject."

It was a casual conversation between Salman and Sajid when Salman got an idea which Sajid grabbed.

"It was just a one-liner that Salman threw at Sajid. That was it. Sajid not only grabbed the idea he also asked Salman to write the screenplay," says the source.

This is not the first time that Salman would be involved with the scripting of one of his starrers. He had written the story for Chandramukhi co-starring Sridevi in which Salman played the lead and also produced.

Devil is expected to go on the floors at the end of 2016. It won't star Randeep Hooda or Nawazuddin Siddiqui.
