Times readers Get FREE $30 to spend on Amazon, Walmart…While the shoot schedule of the Indo-Brit film Bombairiya has undergone a lot of changes, the makers of the film also had to bear other changes which included replacement of the female lead. Richa Chadda, who left the film, few weeks ago, owing to other commitments, is now replaced by Radhika Apte.
After Richa Chadda called it quits, there was a rift between her and the makers, which further led to speculations and even blame games, resulting in the actress releasing a statement claiming that she had other film commitments. On the other hand, Badlapur proved to be a lucky charm for Radhika Apte who made a mark in Bollywood with Balaji's Shor In The City. Right after the release of the Varun Dhawan – Nawazuddin starrer Badlapur, Radhika Apte stated that the film has not only given her rave reviews but also visibility due to which she could add this international project in her portfolio.
Produced by Michael Ward and directed by debutant Pia Sukanya, Bombairiya also stars Akshay Oberoi in the lead.
