Times readers Get FREE $30 to spend on Amazon, Walmart…While IPL ceremony has always been a star studded event, this time around, the BCCL officials have roped in some big stars to perform at the opening ceremony of the eighth season of IPL. Anushka Sharma who is also the girlfriend of cricketer Virat Kohli will be kick starting the event along with many Bollywood celebrities joining her in this event.
According to the official website of Indian Premier League, the event will be held on April 7 at Salt Lake Stadium, Kolkata and actor Saif Ali Khan will be turning host for the evening. On the other hand, the other celebrities performing for the night include Shahid Kapoor and Hrithik Roshan, whereas Farhan Akhtar and his band along with Pritam and band will make the night musical with their performances. Moreover, from what we hear, Pritam will also be putting up a laser show that evening.
