While the cricket fever is on full swing with audiences cheering and crowding in and around stadium, Sanjay Gupta had to face the brunt of the chaos which led to cancellation of the shoot of his film.

It so happened that Sanjay Gupta had asked for the permission to shoot around the famous location of Marine Drive for his film. The director's upcoming thriller has been shot on real locations and Sanjay wanted to maintain it. Since these are crowded areas of Mumbai, he was asked to keep the shoot on Sunday, that is, April 12. However, a Mumbai Indians – Kings XII Punjab match was scheduled on the same day at Wankhede Stadium which resulted in crowd and chaos. In order to prevent mishaps, the authorities revoked the permission from Sanjay to shoot at the location.

A miffed Sanjay Gupta has now decided to avoid such risks in near future. Though it did not result in any monetary loss, the filmmaker was upset with the fact that he had to cancel the shoot and also mentioned that he has packed Sunday schedules in the upcoming weeks. However, one thing the director assured is that while the dates will be adjusted with the authorities for this sequence which was cancelled, he will be cautious about the dates that he chooses for the next time and will avoid getting trapped in such situations.

Starring Aishwarya Rai Bachchan in the lead, Jazbaa also has Irrfan Khan, Shabana Azmi, Atul Kulkarni, Anupam Kher playing prominent roles. Produced by White Feather films and Essel Vision, the film is slated to release on October 9, 2015.
