USA: Free $30 Oye! Times readers Get FREE $30 to spend on Amazon, Walmart…A rumour doing the rounds that Akshay Kumar would donate the first day's proceeds of his new film Gabbar Is Back to help earthquake victims in Nepal, has the actor's team fuming in indignation.

Says a source close to Akshay, "Akshay doesn't need money from his film's collections to help those he can help. He got in touch with his friends in Nepal immediately after the earthquake. The stupid rumour about donating the first day's collection has been spread by a PR agency owing allegiance to a major rival superstar. Akshay Kumar is not the producer of Gabbar Is Back. So how can he donate money that doesn't belong to him? The PR agency that leaked out this information didn't even bother with basic facts."

Sources in the know confirm that Akshay Kumar has been constantly monitoring the situation in Nepal and doing everything in his power to help.

Says Akshay, "I shot in Nepal last year for Baby. I've many friends there. I know exactly what to do. I don't need my film's collections to help Nepal."

Incidentally PR agencies in Mumbai nowadays spend more time planting mischievous stories about stars who are not their clients than looking out for their own clients.
