USA: Oye! Times readers Get FREE $30 to spend on Amazon, Walmart…The trailer of the upcoming Zoya Akhtar directorial Dil Dhadakne Do has received a humungous response, courtesy, the star cast. However, what has also grabbed the attention of many are the eccentric ways the characters in this dysfunctional family are picturized and now capturing their weird antics on camera is filmmaker Reema Kagti.
Marking the occasion of Family Day on May 15, the makers decided to join hands with Reema Kagti of Talaash fame who will be making a kind of three minute short video featuring the lead actors of the film, Anil Kapoor, Shefali Shah, Priyanka Chopra, Farhan Akhtar, Ranveer Singh and Anushka Sharma along with one member from their family who will be revealing about the bond they share with them. Moreover, six real life couples from Mumbai are also a part of the video who will talk about crazy memories with their family. Filmmaker Reema added that they have used the documentary approach for the same and hence do not have a bound script. She also mentioned that they will be adding only parts of this candid interview.
Interestingly, Reema Kagti has already started work on the video and has even completed the interviews of three families. Elaborating on the experience, the director stated that she has interviewed an extended joint family, a nuclear family and a family with a dog by far.
Produced by Junglee Pictures and Excel Entertainment, Dil Dhadakne Do is slated to release on June 5.
