Vikram Bhatt files police complaint against former partners Ajay Bishnoi and Amul Gabrani

Times readers Get FREE $30 to spend on Amazon, Walmart…Director – producer Vikram Bhatt best known for the horror / thriller films he makes has apparently filed a police complaint against his former production partners Ajay Bishnoi and Amul Gabrani. In his complaint filed before the Mumbai Police Commissioner, Vikram alleges that the duo (Ajay and Amul) have been involved in financial fraud through their company ASA Productions and Enterprises Pvt. Ltd of which Bhatt was a board member and creative director.

According to Bhatt's allegations, Bishnoi and Gabrani where contracted by T-Series and Reliance Entertainment to produce three films and one film respectively under the banner of ASA productions. For this venture ASA was paid in advance, but failed make a sizeable payment to the technicians, vendors and talent of the said project and embezzled those funds.

Further Bhatt states that on realizing this fraud committed by Ajay Bishnoi and his brother Anju Bishnoi (the two managed ASA's finances), Vikram resigned from the company on October 30, 2013. Later Bhatt went on to complete two of the promised four projects by investing his own funds for the same, while Ajay and Anju have both been unavailable creditors.

However, the buck does not stop there, Vikram Bhatt adds that while the brothers have deducted the TDS from the parties, they have not paid the TDS amount to the government, implying that the parties do not have a TDS certificate.
