While speculations were rife about the couple getting married soon, we now hear that the two have already taken the plunge on Tuesday.
Masaba Gupta, daughter of actress Neena Gupta and producer Madhu Mantena decided to formalize their relationship in court on Tuesday. The low key court wedding was followed by a dinner celebration at a suburban hotel which saw the presence of Shandaar cast and crew. From Alia Bhatt, who is one of Masaba's closest friends to Shahid Kapoor to Madhu Mantena's associate and friend, Vikas Bahl, everybody came in to celebrate the moment along with the bride and groom's families. Madhu was also in for a surprise when his father arrived along with his extended family and the producer's friends from Hyderabad for the celebration dinner.
Neena Gupta, who is thrilled about her daughter entering a new phase of her life, reminisced about the way Masaba and Madhu were confused about the venue of their wedding but later, decided to get their marriage registered first, following her advice.
