While her latest film Tanu Weds Manu Returns has set the box-office on fire, the gutsy Kangna is now getting all geared up for her next film Katti Batti, which stars Imran Khan as her co-star.

It is for this film that Kangna Ranaut even tried her hand at cinematography by calling the shots for the opening scene, which happens to be a seven minute intimate scene between her and Imran Khan. What had happened was that, since it was an intimate scene, not many were allowed on the sets except for which included the cinematographer. That's when she took the permission of the cinematographer to use the hand held camera and shot the scene. Speaking about the scene in question, Kangna Ranaut said that "It's a seven minutes uncut sequence. I had to shoot it by holding the camera in my hands which was the demand of the script. It was nerve racking but actors can do anything for a director who shows trust and faith in his actor abilities. Nikhil is one such director". On the other hand, Nikhil Advani said, "One of my favorite scenes in the film is one in which Kangna's character is shooting Imran playfully with an iPad. I wanted the scene to be authentic and organic so Tushar (the DoP) suggested that we should allow Kangna to shoot it herself. The lighting was completed, the set was cleared out and Kangna has shot the scene like a pro adding one more talent to her already overflowing basket."

Produced by UTV, Katti Batti will release on September 18, 2015 and the trailer of the film is slated to release on June 14.

On the other hand, Kangna Ranaut is also excited about her upcoming projects. While we are aware of Rangoon, directed by Vishal Bhardwaj and produced by Sajid Nadiadwala, the actress is doing a film with Hansal Mehta titled Simran, which is based on true incidents.
