USA: Oye! Times readers Get FREE $30 to spend on Amazon, Walmart…Kareena Kapoor Khan's mom Babita is a diehard movie buff who loves watching her daughter's films with the junta rather than at private screenings.
On Friday Babita trudged to Mumbai's famous Galaxy-Gaiety theatre in the heart of the city to watch her daughter's new release Bajrangi Bhaijaan with all her friends. They clapped and cheered through the noon show and then stayejd on for the matinee show
Says the proud daughter Kareena, "My mom has her own group of friends to enjoy films with. They went to Galaxy-Gaiety theatre and had a whale of a time, ate samosas and popcorn. And then after the show was over Mom and her friends stayed on for the next show."
Kareena sounded a bit envious about the samosas during intermission. "At Chandan one can't have a full movie experience without the samosas. I wish I could go through that experience."
Kareena chuckles, "I think Mom and her friends over-ate during the double. She told me, 'Between you and Salman we just lost track of what and how much we were eating' (laughs)."
