USA: Free $30 Oye! Times readers Get FREE $30 to spend on Amazon, Walmart…That Indo-Chinese co-production directed by Stanley Tong which Sonu Sood has been bragging about is actually no longer an Indo-China co-production. Or at least it threatens not to be. The Indian production partners Eros International have threatened to pull out of the partnership following 'serious creative differences' with the Chinese partners.

Apparently the Chinese producer Taihe has unilaterally been changing the script and production set-up as soon as Jackie Chan came on board.

Says an informed source, "The film produced by the Chinese company Taihe was to have Eros as the Indian partner. It was supposed to be a two-hero action film with Jackie Chan and Hrithik Roshan in parallel roles. As soon as Jackie Chan signed the contract the Chinese producers began making arbitrary changes in the production plan and the script, to the extent that Hrithik's role became marginalized."

This is when Hrithik Roshan opted out. And this where Eros Entertainment has apparently decided to back out.

Says a source from the erstwhile Indian production team, "We've no idea what the Chinese producers are shooting with director Stanley Tong. We are not aware of who is in the cast. Hrithik is no longer part of the project."
