Times readers Get FREE $30 to spend on Amazon, Walmart…While their film Shaandaar is nearing its release date, Shahid Kapoor and his leading lady Alia Bhatt are on a city tour and the recent one they visited was Ahmedabad. Considering the ongoing lavish Navratri celebrations in this Gujarat city, the promotions would have been incomplete without the famous dance form – Garba.
Garba or Dandiya Raas is a dance form that is often performed during Navratri as a means of impressing the Goddesses on the nine days of the festival. This trend has obviously spread across India but nothing can be compared to the huge celebrations in Gujarat. Hence, Shahid Kapoor and Alia Bhatt who were in the city decided to shake a leg and do a few Garba moves on the stage whilst promoting their film. The actress also posted a video of the same on Instagram saying, "Garba nights in Ahemdabad!!!! #Shaandaar #ShaandaarPromotions"
We all are aware of Shahid Kapoor's amazing dancing skills but to see the young actress dance on this traditional form was definitely a pleasure!
