Aamir Khan invites Rahul Bhatt to train him for Dangal

USA: Oye! Times readers Get FREE $30 to spend on Amazon, Walmart…Mahesh Bhatt's son Rahul Bhatt is in Ludhiana for Aamir Khan's physical training in Nitesh Tiwari's Dangal. The invitation, says a source, came directly from Aamir.

"He knows Rahul from the time he (Rahul) was a child hanging around on his dad Mahesh Bhatt Saab's set of Dil Hai Ki Manta Nahin. Rahul grew up to be one of the finest physical trainers in Mumbai. So when Aamir needed to develop two distinct body types for his wrestler's character, he immediately thought of Rahul," says a source close to Dangal.

Rahul flew off to Ludhiana where he is stationed along with Aamir Khan in the Radisson hotel where Aamir is stationed. Says the source, "Aamir trains with Rahul for approximately 90 minutes every day. It is very intense training. The rigorous exercises involve Myofibril-based strength work-outs. Aamir Khan is first training with Rahul for his bulky look when his character is 45-years old. Then later he needs to train to look 25. For both the looks, Rahul Bhatt has worked out a very strict and focused exercise regime for Aamir."

The superstar has signed on the Bhatt scion for a 90-day contract. But we now hear Aamir intends to keep Rahul on his payroll as his personal trainer even when Dangal is complete.

Rahul Bhatt's launch film Bad would be directed by his sister Pooja Bhatt. Confirming this Pooja said, "I've decided to direct Rahul's film. Earlier I thought I'd only produce the film. I know what he is capable of and how to get it out of him on camera. He has waited long. I can't afford to let him down."

Pooja would be the second sibling to direct her brother. Zoya Akhtar has directed Farhan in all the films she has directed so far. Bad with Rahul Bhatt in the title role goes on the floors as soon as Pooja finishes directing her long-in-the-pipeline project Cabaret.
