Farhan Akhtar wants Nirbhayas juvenile rapist to be re-tried as an adult

USA: Oye! Times readers Get FREE $30 to spend on Amazon, Walmart…The release of brave heart Nirbhaya's 'juvenile' rapist who is being let out after three years of confinement has piqued and troubled the nation's conscience.

At least one prominent Bollywood celebrity Farhan Akhtar has come forward to protest against the rapist's release and asked that the honourable court's decision be revised.

Asks Farhan, "Is the so-called juvenile really reformed? Keeping in mind that such is the law of the land, which in my humble opinion, requires a re-evaluation itself, there should be a series of psycho-analytical tests done on the man by leading experts in the field to understand if he is in fact reformed."

Farhan suggests that if after the tests the juvenile criminal who is now-an-adult is found to have not reformed, then there ought to be a re-trial.

Says Farhan, "If the tests to prove his reformation prove inconclusive, he should be tried again in a court of law as an adult."
