Times readers Get FREE $30 to spend on Amazon, Walmart…Bejoy Nambiar whose next directorial Wazir featuring Amitabh Bachchan and Farhan Akhtar is just days away from release, but the director seems to have landed himself in a spot of trouble. in fact we hear that the convenor of the Disabled Rights Group (DRG) Javed Abidi felt that Nambir's comment on Bachchan being limited in the film due to his character being wheelchair bound was disparaging and extremely condescending towards people with disabilities, and has even demanded an apology for the same.
Nambir, on his part, along with the team of Wazir apologized for the same clarifying that no malice was ever intended via the statement, instead it was only defining Bachchan's character in the film who is paralyzed and wheelchair bound.
As for the film Wazir, that also features Aditi Rao Hydari, is revenge saga scheduled to hit theatres on Friday.
