And considering Priyanka Chopra's hectic schedules, the actress had to skip one of the most prestigious award functions recently. However, it was her best friend Deepika Padukone who came to her rescue.
At the 22nd Star Screen Awards, Priyanka Chopra was presented the award for the Best Actress in a Supporting Role for Bajirao Mastani. But the actress couldn't attend the ceremony due to other commitments and Deepika Padukone went on stage to receive the award on behalf of her and the entire team of the film. It has been a winning spree for Priyanka who recently also bagged the trophy at People's Choice Awards for her debut English series 'Quantico'.
