USA: Free $30 Oye! Times readers Get FREE $30 to spend on Amazon, Walmart…A while back we had reported that model turned actor Sudhanshu Pandey had filed a case against director – producer Rakesh Roshan and Sanjay Gupta alleging that the duo had lifted the story of his film Farmayish for their upcoming venture featuring Hrithik Roshan. Now we hear that Rakesh Roshan is contemplating on filing a defamation suit against actor Sudhanshu.

Apparently Roshan, who is in no mood to take Sudhanshu's allegations lying down, has been in talks with his lawyers to glean advice on filing the defamation suit. While currently the suit is being processed, the filmmaker will apparently be seeking Rs. 50 crores as damages from Pandey. Commenting on the same, Roshan confirmed the suit saying that he is filing a criminal defamation suit against Sudhanshu.

For the uninitiated, in December last year, Sudhanshu Pandey alleged that his script Farmayish was stolen by Rakesh Roshan and Sanjay Gupta and was being used as the script for their film Kabil featuring Hrithik Roshan that is set to roll in February. Further Pandey claimed that after pitching his script to Gupta, they had together approached Balaji Telefilms who had back then agreed to join them as co-producers.

However following his ouster from the production of the said film, Pandey had sent two notices to Gupta and Rakesh Roshan and also filed a complaint with the Indian Film and Television Producers Council (IFTPC), claiming sole and exclusive intellectual property right, including copyright ownership on the script.
