USA: Free $30 Oye! Times readers Get FREE $30 to spend on Amazon, Walmart…While there have been several speculations about Aamir Khan's upcoming ambitious project Dangal, the film is all set to have an international connect. The film will feature real life wrestlers from all over the world to add authenticity to the plot.

Dangal is based on the life of Haryanvi wrestler Mahavir Phogat and the makers are trying to maintain the realistic quotient in the film. While the team has been shooting in Ludhiana and other locations, we hear that four international wrestlers too have landed in town for the film. These real life wrestlers hail from places like Africa, Poland, UK and others. From what we hear, 2 are from Poland, 1 from Cameron and 1 from UK. The film's crew is also looking after the needs of the international wrestlers who are supposedly staying with the unit in Ludhiana and Delhi.

Apparently, the script demanded international wrestlers as Mahavir's daughter Geeta is shown to fight bouts with international wrestlers in the film. The reason why the team has got them on board is because these wrestlers will be seen fighting Aamir's reel daughters (Geeta and Babita Phogat) in the film. The two girls (played by debutants Fatima Sana Shaikh and Sanya Malhotra) who have been extensively trained for over a period of one and a half year have now become thoroughly skilled with the sport.
Presented by Disney, Dangal is produced by Aamir Khan, Kiran Rao and Siddharth Roy Kapur and directed by Nitesh Tiwari. It is slated to release during Christmas 2016.
