Though the actress recently made several special appearances in many films, she has been staying away from the limelight on screen and off screen. Now, we hear that Pooja Batra is all set to do a prominent role in the upcoming Hollywood sci-fi film One Under the Sun, directed by Kathryn Voss.
Pooja Batra recently underwent several personal turmoils including a divorce and has now decided to focus her attention in the glamour industry. Revealing about the character she will be playing in the upcoming film, Pooja mentioned that she will be playing an astronaut, a role inspired by India's first woman in space, Kalpana Chawla. She added that the film revolves around a disastrous mission wherein she turns out to be the only survivor whose solo aim is to reach to her terminally ill daughter as soon as possible. She further stated that she has also taken several efforts in order to style her character that resembles Kalpana, like chopping off her tresses etc.
