USA: Oye! Times readers Get FREE $30 to spend on Amazon, Walmart…The deeper we delve into the alleged battle between lovers turned foes Hrithik Roshan and Kangna Ranaut, the murkier it gets. After reports of Hrithik Roshan and Kangna Ranaut slapping legal notices of defamation against each other started surfacing, recently it is being said that Hrithik Roshan had approached the Cyber Crime division to file a complaint against an impostor.
Reportedly, superstar Hrithik Roshan had a closed door meeting with some of the top police authorities in Mumbai in order to nail the impostor who has been sending e-mails and interacting with his fans under the e-mail id hroshan@email.com. On the other hand, Kangna has apparently given a statement regarding the same mentioning that the said id was indeed made by Hrithik Roshan and that the actor decided to take action against the same seven months after she revealed about it to Hrithik Roshan during a bash organized by Karan Johar. During the investigations, when the police demanded copies of e-mails and header/ footer of the mails sent from the id, Hrithik's lawyer allegedly claimed that his client (aka Hrithik) did not have an access to the said fake account. However, reports about Kangna's statements claim otherwise. According to them, Kangna Ranaut has neither been blocked nor has there been any objection raised against her communication through e-mails.
On the other hand, recent reports also claim that Hrithik Roshan's lawyer Dipesh Mehta has sent a legal notice to Kangna Ranaut for defaming his client's image after the latter referred to Hrithik as her 'silly ex' during one of the press meets. Though Hrithik indirectly replied to her comment by taking to Twitter it seems that the start of the entire legal battle can be traced back to the words said by Kangna during the said event. Further alleging that Kangna Ranaut is suffering Asperger's Syndrome, Hrithik's statement reportedly claimed that the actress is imagining things and making up stories.
It has been learnt that however, Kangna's lawyer Rizwan Siddiqui has now taken matters into his hands and has filed a counter notice over the alleged charges pressed by Hrithik Roshan. He has also stated that Hrithik Roshan's claims are baseless and that they are currently waiting for the actor and his legal team to respond to their counter notice.
In response to the same, Hrithik's lawyer continues to maintain that his client and Kangna haven't shared any kind of relationship beyond a professional level. But Kangna's statements in her 21 page reply allegedly claim that whatever happened between both the parties was with full consent.
What Hrithik Roshan holds as proof, according to recent reports, are the collection of e-mails which was an interaction between the actor and Kangna. However, another story that has started floating is that this will only further add to legal complications as Kangna can get Hrithik jailed for 10 years under section 67 (publishing of information which is obscene in electronic form, section 499 and 500 (defamation and subsequent punishment) and section 506 of Indian Penal Code (punishment of criminal intimidation to impute unchastity to a woman).
