Ranbir Kapoor confirms the release of first look of Jagga Jasoos next month

Times readers Get FREE $30 to spend on Amazon, Walmart…Ranbir Kapoor, who hasn't been interacting with the media after his alleged break-up with Katrina Kaif, recently was spotted at the screening of Dharma Productions' Kapoor & Sons. However, this time around, Ranbir Kapoor made a rather important announcement about his much delayed film Jagga Jasoos.

Ranbir Kapoor made a public appearance after a long time whilst he attended the screening of the film in which his father and veteran actor Rishi Kapoor is playing a 90 year old patriarch. His presence at the special screening however caught media's attention and while he was hounded with questions about his father's performance in the film, he was also asked about the status of Jagga Jasoos. Recently, Katrina Kaif announced that the film has been pushed from June to July but soon, speculations claimed that the film has been pushed further. Denying that there are no troubles in shooting the film, Ranbir clarified that everyone has been putting efforts into the film wholeheartedly including him, Katrina and Anurag (Basu). He further also stated that there are only few days of shoot left and they are planning to release the first look of Jagga Jasoos next month and also added that he hopes everybody likes the teaser and trailer of the film.

Amidst film commitments of Ranbir Kapoor and Katrina Kaif, Jagga Jasoos that was initially slated for a 2014 release has been pushed for almost two years. In fact, the much talked about break-up between the lead pair Ranbir and Katrina also was said to be the reason for the delay in shoot since the two couldn't see each other eye to eye.

Directed by Anurag Basu and produced by UTV, Jagga Jasoos has been shot in varied locations like South Africa and Thailand. The film that also stars Govinda in a prominent role is slated to release in July 2016.
