USA: Oye! Times readers Get FREE $30 to spend on Amazon, Walmart…Amidst the ongoing ugly spat between Hrithik Roshan and Kangna Ranaut, Hrithik has landed in legal trouble once again due to his tweet on the 'Pope' that was posted by him on his official Twitter handle, two months ago. The actor has now been slapped with a legal notice by a certain Abraham Mathai for hurting religious sentiments.
Hrithik Roshan had then taken to Twitter after the continuous speculations about his alleged affair with Kangna Ranaut and as a response to the gossipmongers, he said, "Ther r more chances of me having had an affair with d Pope dan any of d (Im sure wonderful)women d media hs ben naming. Thanks but no thanks." However, his comment has got the actor into legal trouble with Abraham Mathai, the All India President of the Indian Christian Voice, claiming that he and his community has taken offense to the fact that he dragged the name of a religious head in his tweet. While Abraham believes that it is the actor's choice to live his life the way he wants to, he also added that such comments coming from a celebrity are irresponsible and unnecessary.
Mathai's lawyer Rizwan Siddiqui has demanded for a public apology from Hrithik Roshan within seven days adding that the criminal notice has been sent to the Bollywood actor under section 295 (Deliberate and malicious acts, intended to outrage religious feelings of any class by insulting its religion or religious beliefs). Rizwan is also Kangna's lawyer and is representing her in her legal battle with Hrithik Roshan.
