Times readers Get FREE $30 to spend on Amazon, Walmart…While we have earlier reported about Vivek Oberoi venturing into production, the actor has already decided on the line-up of films he will be working on. One amongst them is the renowned Iranian film by Majid Majidi, The Color of Paradise.

After recently announcing about a gangster drama Rai to be directed by Ram Gopal Varma, Vivek Oberoi aims at telling the touching tale of a blind boy and his father. Vivek has bought the rights of The Color of Paradise and he will also be co-scripting the film. From what we hear, the Indian version of this film will be based in North India to suit our needs and the casting is underway. Besides that, Vivek is also looking for a talented director who can helm this emotional story of an eight year old blind boy, Mohammad who is shunned by his widowed father Hashem owing to his handicap.
