Arjun Rampal, who was last seen in the 2015 release Roy, has commenced work on his next film Kahaani 2 which is a sequel to Sujoy Ghosh's 2012 film Kahaani that featured Vidya Balan in the lead role. While the actress remains a constant in the second part as well, she began shooting last month. Posting about himself joining the shoot of the film, Arjun Rampal took to twitter to share an image saying, "With an abandoned postbox. Gosh,I remember so clearly when we used to post letters. Extinct today #vintageKahaani2".
Later on his Instagram account Rampal added another image from the sets of the film saying, "An old water hand pump on the streets of Kolkata. Sujoy tells me he used to drink from the same one when he was a kid. Now he's petrified. #oldisgold #kahaani2 #lovekolkata".
As for the film, though the details of the story of the Sujoy Ghosh directed Kahaani 2 are being kept under wraps, Vidya Balan had earlier taken to twitter to confirm the release date of the film as November 25, 2016 via a 30 second video.
