No support for dead spot boys family from Salman Khan or Yash Raj Films

Earlier this year there were reports of an accidental death on sets of the currently underproduction Salman Khan starrer Sultan. Following this Salman Khan had promised to assist the family of the deceased spot boy Uday Singh Dharyal. However, four months later and the family is yet to receive any assistance as promised from Salman Khan or Yash Raj Films. In view of this, the family of the spot boy wrote an application to the Amboli police to investigate and find out whether he died due to the negligence of Yash Raj staff.

According to the deceased's wife Chandrakala, her husband had died during the shooting of the movie Sultan in January 2016. While working on January 10, Uday suddenly fell down unconscious. His colleagues took him to the office and told him to take rest. After some time, Uday returned on the set and started working however after sometime he fell down again. Further his wife states that a doctor from the Yash Raj Production checked him and told her to shift him to a hospital after giving him some medicine. Uday was then taken to the private Hospital Bellevue. However, at 8.30pm the doctor declared Uday dead. The Workers accompanying his wife took his body for post-mortem at the Cooper hospital but Chandrakala claimed that the post-mortem was not done.

Later Chandrakala approached Salman at Goregaon Film City with her children during shooting of Sultan, and was reassured by the actor that help from the Yash Raj Productions and from him will be given to her. However, 4 months down, Chandrakala is awaiting Salman's help.

Commenting on the same Ramesh Khadtare, senior police inspector of Amboli police station said, "We have received an application from the family of the spot boy today only. However we have begun investigations."
